A trilateral memorandum aims to increase openness, transparency and accountability in the use of Ukraine’s water resources.

On 4 June, a trilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed between the State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine, the NGO “Open Data Association” and YouControl. The main goal of this partnership is to join forces to increase openness, transparency and accountability in the use of Ukraine’s water resources.
The key goal of the cooperation is to establish sustainable interaction for obtaining data from regular reporting on water use. This will make environmental data more accessible and understandable for society and business.
[note] Together, we are building a strong culture of working with data in Ukraine. Transparency in the use of natural resources is the foundation for effective management decisions and the sustainable development of the state.
